Scope of the Finance Unit

FINANCIAL RECORDS AND REPORTS

• Prepares and submits liquidation reports of schools (District I) 

ACCOUNT TRACKING

• Maintains and updates monthly status of cash advances for funds downloaded to schools (District I) 
• Maintains subsidiary ledgers for cash advances and liquidations of school heads 

FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS RECORDING PROCEDURES

• Prevents/Reduces COA findings through effective pre-audit of liquidation reports. 
• Receives accounting documents and maintains a record under Personnel Services by photocopying and filing documents upon receipt for COA and for future reference. 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

• Provides technical assistance to school heads and administrative assistants on disbursement and preparation of liquidation reports on funds downloaded to schools 
• Assists clients & visitors for the district assigned 
• Encodes reports/data and other documents as instructed for the district assigned.
